$10 Astrology 101: Understanding your chart through connections

$10 Astrology 101: Understanding your chart through connections

Welcome to astrology 101: understanding your chart through connections with our host Monica

  1. First, we will map your personal chart. What planets are in which signs? What is the dominant element in your chart? Are you mostly cardinal, mutable, or fixed? What aspects, like trines, squares, sextiles and oppositions exist in your own chart, and how do you relate to this?

  2. Once you’re comfortable with your own chart, we’ll move on to the practicing with partners and making connections. We’ll assign partners. You compare your charts side by side. Use the helpful cheat sheet to talk about how your astrological energies might be similar or might differ. After 10 minutes, we’ll give the signal to switch partners.

Note: if you came to the first Astro-Connections, we have incorporated your feedback and this event will be simpler and more geared towards learning basic astrology. We hope to see you again :)

$10 per person -If you do not have Venmo please fill out form and bring $10 cash for Monica day of.

Payment and Sign up form

Bring:

  • Your birth date and place (birth time is recommended but optional)

  • Download a free astrology app (CHANI is great! Co-star is good too)

FAQ:

Do I need to know anything about astrology beforehand?

Not a thing! This workshop is designed for absolute beginners. If you know your sun sign, you’re ahead of the game. If you don’t, we’ll still get you sorted.

Is this event queer-friendly?

Absolutely! Our only rule is respect.

I’m shy/skeptical. Should I still come?

Yes, the astrology gives you something to focus on and talk about, which can take the pressure off social interactions.

I don’t know my birth time. Can I still participate?

While a birth time gives you your Rising Sign and house placements (which add depth), you can still fully participate with just your birth date and location.
