Join us at the Tipsy Blackbird for an evening of learning tarot! Whether you've never touched a tarot deck or you're a seasoned expert, this hands-on session will empower you to use this numinous tool with confidence.
The evening begins by exploring the history of the deck, the structure of the Major and Minor Arcana, and the symbolic language of the cards. We'll briefly cover the four suits/elements, astrological correspondences, numerology, mythology, and the classic "Fool's Journey," giving you the keys to interpret any card.
Then, the real magic begins. You’ll get out of your seat, grab a tarot deck (we'll have a variety available, but you're welcome to bring your own) and put your knowledge to the test in a series of guided, partner-based exercises using different tarot spreads. This is a chance to connect with fellow attendees in a relaxed, supportive environment while practicing essential reading skills.
